In 2006, two young entrepreneurs decided to create a new publication in the San Fernando Valley. The goal was to create a news source that would give a voice to the community. So in December 2006 the first "theSFVnews" was introduced to the community. From the beginning, the motto, "We Put the Unity in Community" was followed. A publication with no connections to outside political forces was created. Valley readers and businesses now have a publication that they can proudly call their own.
theSFVnews is a monthly news magazine serving the San Fernando Valley communities of Chatsworth, Porter Ranch, Northridge and Granada Hills. With a circulation of 51,000 copies distributed to over 43,000 homes and 8,000 copies distributed to high-traffic areas the third week of each month, theSFVnews is the San Fernando Valley's largest full color news magazine.
theSFVnews is published by The Synergy Media Company as well as the 818 Value Guide and myMenu Magazine.
